This select product contains 50% grass-fed British Venison blended with Scottish Salmon. Meat being the main constituent follows our ancestral concept of feeding - the food of the wolves. Large meat content diets are not only extremely tasty and digestible but are also very healthy... 'We use high levels of venison in our Venison and Sweet Potato recipe and to maintain a supply throughout the whole of the year we use venison from a selection of Britsh farms. The deer are raised free range, as nature intended, on the rolling open countryside of protected estates and parks. Natural flora and fauna are the foodstuffs of the deer as they roam through the grasslands and woodlands of these parks.
For our carbohydrates we use the complex carb; Sweet Potato. Sweet potato is another highly digestible ingredient, this premium carbohydrate has a low glycemic-index (Low-GI); this is a measure of how quickly a food causes the dog's blood sugar levels to rise. Preventing a spike in blood-sugar of can prevent diabetes etc. Whilst rich in dietary fibre and vitamin A, sweet potato also provide sources of; vitamin C, manganese, copper, pantothenic acid, and vitamin B6.
Naturally occurring and added Omega 3 & 6 acids are contained within this food. Omega 3 and 6 has been shown to support skin and coat quality, added gloss, reduce skin inflammation, visual development, and cognitive function. As it reduces inflammation, Omega 3 has also been shown to help joints become more supple.
As with all of our products, we never use artificial colours or preservatives. We ethically source our ingredients and buy as local as possible. We never use any GM or potential GM contaminated ingredients in our products. All products are endorsed and approved by Vets.

Benson is so full of energy, his coat is soft so glossy. Benson loves the flavor and small size of this one.
Reggie is trying out the venison for the first time right now after enjoying the salmon for the previous couple of orders. Suffice to say he is still licking around his bowl several minutes after it’s been devoured. We were worried when his previous premium brand went into receivership and were recommended Clydach by friends who also have a young WCS. Reggie’s coat is still as shiny as always, he has just as much (too much!!) energy and if anything his stools are firmer than before. Highly recommended.

Venison was the only food for Rupert to score 0 : 0 on his food allergy testing panel----he is really thriving on this product and never leaves a single morsel in his feeding bowl.
Zak is 3 years old and when we acquired him 18 months ago we discovered he was extremely difficult to feed. After extensive ( and expensive ) investigation, it was established that he was suffering from a form of IBD. Every feeding time became a constant battle to get him to eat anything at all. After many trials of varying foods and methods my wife happened to stumble across the website of Clydach Farm. After speaking at some length to a gentleman at Clydach about various options to try , we settled on a trial of the Venison dry , the general consensus being that a period of 6-8 weeks was a reasonable ‘test’ of suitability. The attached video was taken at exactly 7 weeks and needless to say we now have a very happy and healthy dog. Unfortunately we don’t have the gentleman’s name but there is no doubt that his knowledge and experience clearly reflects the ethos of this company. Needless to say , we are extremely relieved and grateful to have found a supplier that truly understands and addresses its customer base. Hopefully good news for us ( and them) is that we are going to see a new puppy tomorrow. Guess where we’ll be getting dog food from if we decide to take him home!

13 yr old working Cocker loves the salmon still thinks she’s a pup. Vet keeps telling me, on her annual visit haw well she looks . People are amazed when we tell them how old she is. I put it down to her Clydach Farm Salmon which she has had for most of her life. And the raw egg at 12 o’clock and carrot at three . She knows the time and practically asks for it at exactly the time
Rudi goes absolutely crazy for this dry food - He tends to be very picky when it comes to dry foods/kibble. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants their dog to have a tasty (for him) and healthy meal.

I have been feeding Freddy Clydach Farm since he was 10 weeks old, and he is SUCH a healthy dog at 3.5 years old now. TMI but his poops have been perfect his entire life and I put it down to the high quality of CF’s food. He gets bored of things easily but his Venison food is never one of them, every meal time is as exciting for him as it was the first time he tried it. Also as a bonus the customer service has always been five stars. Thank you so much Clydach Farm please never stop making this great dog food :)

Since my boy was a pup ,I’ve fed him clydagh food,he turns his nose up at a lot of other brands that we’ve put in front of him. I buy 5 kgs of venison, duck and lamb kibble monthly and mix the 3 together. Never had a problem with the food or the service. If you’re looking for a new food supplier,I’d recommend giving them a try.

Have used venison with my older dog Ollie for a good while. He has an underlying gut issue and this dried food is excellent for keeping everything in check
Swapped our young lurcher onto this food from a similar (but more expensive) trendy brand….Clydach is superior. The bit of scurf in his coat has cleared up, his poos are nice and firm, and he’s faster than ever!

As always,punctual delivery and correct contents. I’ve fed my G. Shepherd on their food for about 2 years or so and he loves it. Will remain with them until they give me a reason not to, which I can’t see happening. Would recommend.
